Project Spotlight: Glow Creative’s Tradeshow Systems
Today we’re highlighting a recent project we worked on with Glow Creative, a superior Portland-based creative agency. Glow’s client, a local software company, had a busy 2014 tradeshow season.
The schedule included a large national show where they wanted to make a major statement; in the words of Glow, the customer wanted to “Go Big or Go Home”. Additionally, the client attended several regional shows and wanted several sets of displays that were easy to setup, easy to transport to each location and would make a professional, eye-catching statement. Glow Creative looked for a partner whom they could trust – who would deliver a quality product, on time and on budget. They selected S2 Imaging to take care of the details and produce comprehensive tradeshow display systems to meet the client’s needs.
The first requirement was to design and manufacture a display for a 20’ x 20’ space at the national tradeshow. In collaboration with S2 Imaging, Glow Creative proposed several options. The client ultimately chose an 18 ft tall fabric covered tower centerpiece with a 7 ft diameter cone and three curved architectural support beams that accommodated monitors. A laminate counter with printed slat walls provided a welcoming reception area and abundant lockable storage. The display was a hit – both for Glow’s client and for the tradeshow attendees.
With the success of the large display, the client needed to equip multiple offices with displays for the regional tradeshows. Again, ease of assembly and transport along with dramatic, quality graphics were key elements. Glow Creative developed the display artwork that drew attendees to the table, S2 Imaging delivered each kit comprised of a table top display with iPad stand, a table cover and a retractable banner stand. Glow and the client chose wisely, selecting multiple items to give a unified, well-integrated exhibit.
Each component served an important purpose:
- The tabletop unit anchored the tradeshow space, attracting qualified decision-makers.
- An iPad stand allowed booth visitors to enjoy a rich, interactive experience showing the benefits of the software.
- The retractable stand helped maximize the tradeshow space by providing rich graphics in a limited footprint.
- The table cover completed the look, creating a unified visual impression that drew in booth visitors.
