Customer Spotlight: Vinyl Vehicle Graphics For Dynalectric

06Feb 2014

Vehicle graphics can serve many purposes, including low-cost, high-return advertising. Like a portable billboard, a moving vehicle may earn 60,000 impressions per day. However, there are many other reasons to install vehicle graphics. Today we’re featuring Dynalectric, a long-time S2 Imaging customer that relies on our vinyl car graphics to identify vehicles as belonging to an authorized contractor.

Dynalectric was founded in 1938 as a small Portland business; since then the firm has grown into one of the leading electrical contractors in Oregon. Decades of experience enables Dynalectric to provide total electric services, including voice-data, fire alarm, security systems, low and high voltage work, design-build/assist, and much more, across a range of industries. Dynalectric has provided electrical expertise in health care structures, computer chip manufacturers, high-rise multi-family developments, and even industrial applications such as solar processing plants. With a well-earned reputation for completing electrical projects on time and to the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety, Dynalectric is a key contractor on many large footprint projects, such as at OHSU and the Portland International Airport. On such spread-out projects, Dynalectric uses “run-about” vehicles to move workers and parts around the property. S2 Imaging’s vehicle decals not only promote Dynalectric’s participation in the project, but also serve an important security purpose. With a glance at a Dynalectric vehicle, clients and contractors immediately know that it belongs on the project, and that all is well from a safety perspective.

Indeed, contractors are often required by their clients to wear special logoed vests, and to clearly display the company names on vehicles. Vehicle graphics are therefore a prerequisite for many large-scale projects.

Dynalectric has been an S2 Imaging customer for so long that both of our company names have changed since we started doing business together. When Dynalectric first contracted with us, they were Grasle Electric, and we were PDQ signs. For years, Dynalectric has relied on us to provide fleet vehicle graphics, job site banners, heavy equipment decals, and more. Their successful use of vehicle graphics for security and promotion purposes shows the true versatility of these mobile logos.
