Perhaps one of our more portable systems doesn't fit your requirements?  You are looking for something a little more dramatic to fit a bigger exhibit space.  We can help with those kinds of displays as well.  A modular or truss system is what you had in mind?  We work with several display manufacturers who offer dynamic exhibit structures.  They are "off the shelf" which means no experimentation - they are tested for safety and versatility.  And, they come with all necessary hardware and tools, lighting and molded case.
