Construction projects need affordable, durable signs to identify “what’s coming”. Site signs heighten awareness of neighbors, pedestrian and drive-by traffic. It’s an opportunity for general contractors, subcontractors and financing sources to build brand awareness. And, don’t forget the property owner who wants to get a tenant in the space as soon as possible. Site signs are used on new construction sites and remodel projects.
From a visual perspective, we highly recommend including a rendering of the final project as well as listing contract, trade and finance participants. Again, building brand awareness is the objective.
Site signs can be fabricated from plywood, aluminum, corregated plastic or scrim vinyl banner or mesh banner media. Remodel projects often print colorful posters for store front windows. Budget and life expectancy will determine the appropriate material. Construction site signs generally do not require permitting. What will be important to consider is placement – for maximum advertising impact and minimum pedestrian or vehicle traffic disruption. They can be free standing or attached to fencing or existing walls.
