If you
use a CD of Floppy Disk or other type of removable
media we will need the following:
1)
If you job is color critical, a hardcopy of your artwork in color
is preferred.
2)
Filename/directory structure or location of your
artwork files on the supplied media
3) PMS
color match info if necessary
How
artwork on disk should be setup if supplying an EPS
File:
1) All
files should be included in one folder with relevant
font and reference image files included
2) When
saving your EPS, be sure and convert all fonts to
outlines
3) If your
content includes image files they should be supplied
in their native version (i.e.. Tiff, Jpg, PSD, etc.)
at a resolution of 300 DPI)
How to
layout your artwork:
1) We
recommend when creating large mural pieces to create
one complete file 1/2 scale of the finished size.
Example: Finished size: 96" wide x 86" high set
document size at 48" wide x 43" high (1/2 scale)
2) If you
are using Photoshop for file prep, again set document
size at 1/2 scale with a document resolution of 175
dpi, if you want to work at 1/4 scale setup your
document at 300 dpi. (Or up to 135 megs)
3) If your
artwork includes both vector and raster based content,
remember to setup all raster based images at 300 dpi
within the finished artwork. (this applies when
creating an EPS file Illustrator or Photoshop)
4) All
artwork should be created and saved in a CMYK
environment.
5) Please
do not use any type of compression software on image
files. (i.e. - lzw TIFF compression)
6) Please
be aware, overlay complex clipping path can cause
issues with our RIP software.
7) Please
always provide enough bleed while setting up your file
with respects to our layout templates for each
different type of display hardware. If you are not
sure how to proceed, please call your account Rep. for
clarification.
