Cut vinyl is removable. Depending on how long it has been on the surface, it may require a heat gun to soften the vinyl and the adhesive. If some of the adhesive stays behind, a little adhesive remover will do the trick. After the vinyl is removed, a shadow may be visible, especially on vehicles. That is because over time, surfaces exposed to weather and pollution oxidize. Buffing should remove or minimize the shadow.
